Busy, but Back [Long Post]

As the title suggests, I've been busy.

This week, especially. Lots of work to do and coming back home late and tired... don't even have the time to use the good 'ol computer when you gotta leave house at 5:30am and reach back home around 10pm.

There's a lot of important stuff that's been going down at the usual workplace, that's why there's been a drastic change in work times. People getting shifted left 'n right, but it's just another one of those 'tough weeks' that can happen anytime of the year...

... sometimes up to eight times a year.

But, I finally got a free day today, so I'm gonna use it well... starting off with a blog post to tell you guys that I'm not dead. Just got a little caught up at work, that's all.

And without further delays, here's the 113 video that I was supposed to upload five days ago. Enjoy.

Finally, the 113 in a real server... and not that mess they call 'Common Test'. Ugh... dem gold shells everywhere...

My most favored tank, 113... the huge "MBT"

I've actually gotten this tank quite some time ago, around September of last year [2015]. Been practicing on how to use it ever since. It's a pretty great tank with a combination of a heavy tank and a medium tank. Rapid cannon combined with some armor and speed which allows it to catch up with some mediums. Although, the armor's the only trouble with this tank.

What I meant is that damn lower frontal plate. It's all kinds of bad if something hits it.

From 112...
...to WZ 111...
...and finally WZ 111 1-4.
Then, it's just like that. Ever since.

It's been pretty much the same, starting from 112, then to the WZ-111 and the 1-4 variant [the tier nine one] and now the 113. The 20mm jump from WZ-111 -14 to 113 for the lower frontal plate is just not enough for the tier 10 tank. I'm used to the upper frontal armor, the weak-ass ammo rack and engine fires that it constantly gets... but it feels kinda strange that they did not try to at least make the armor better. Certain other tanks have definitely been through the upgrade phase.

Someday... I'll be getting you soon. Owning the tank in my garage, not kill it is what I meant.

Take the VK 45.02 B above for example. It used to be one of the worst tier 9 tanks 'cause of "historical accuracy" which makes the front hull of the tank pretty much a Chinese tank, but ended up getting a major buff, especially the lower frontal armor plate. Used to be easy kill whenever I met it... now it's a monster after the buff... especially the 200mm for BOTH upper and lower plates.

And it's pretty much a young Maus now, except in tier 9.

I was thinking that the 113 should have something like that, too. I know that it had a buff recently, but it just buffs the make the heavy medium towards the 'medium tank' characteristics... it's missing out on the 'heavy tank' part.

Why am I saying this? Well, there's not many heavy-medium hybrids out there. The only other one that I can find similarly to the 113 is the E50M. I could choose the T110E5, but that tank is a true heavy, y'know... slow speed, good armor. Only the gun is the 'medium tank' attribute.

The E50M is chosen because of it's speed, weight and armor. The gun and speed is definitely medium tank-like, but the armor and weight is the 'heavy tank' part of the tank. You can be surprised how many people take this medium tank lightly. Some might even downright ram the E50M without knowing whether it could be heavier then their own tanks.

One example is when a friend of mine decided to have some tier 10 mock duels in the Common Test Server. Best map to choose for duels are definitely the smaller ones, so he chose the Mittengard map.

Loads of fun using the tier 10s that we aim to get someday... anyway.
E50M
Leopard 1

-VS-

Who will win?

There's one duel where I used the E50M and he used the other medium, the Leopard 1. He thought it will be the usual medium vs medium battles. Naturally, I knew that the E50M is a very speedy and rather heavy tank. And by chance, he chose the Mittengard map... y'know, where there are slopes to gain speed.

What I'm trying to say is that as soon as our tanks met in the middle, I rammed him. That crash course led to his tank's demise.

None of the rounds he shot at me went through the upper or lower plates, only the turret which is a flat area if not angled correctly.

He was shocked that his tank got smashed just by ramming mine. That is, until I told him that the E50M is not light. Just because a tank moves fast does not mean that it's light.

Fast moving bulldozer, with autoloader!

This goes the same if you tried ramming an AMX 50B from the front... especially if your tank is lighter than the French Autoloader... and especially if he's in motion.

Don't forget that if the person uses the 'Controlled Impact' skill, it pretty much improves the damage caused and decreases the damage received.

Too bad I can't show replays of the E50/Leopard 1 duel or the AMX 50B that I had in action, where I squashed two tanks. Those were like nearly two years ago. I can't record if I can't even run the damn thing. It's outdated.

Back on track: the 113's frontal lower plate is sub-par. The 121 is pretty much a better option because of this. What's weird is that the WZ-111 has it's side armor to a total of 120mm!

It's only the small upper strip though. [the one without spaced armor] The one below is the same throughout tiers 8-10, with the exception of  the 110 tank. And the lower side armor's value is 110mm with the spaced armor. The same 80mm from tiers 8-9, but 90mm in the 113... but still adds up with the spaced armor of 20mm to get 110mm.

Do you prefer the 121...
...or the 113?

Quick comparison of 121 to 113. Upper Frontal? 120mm. Lower frontal? 80mm and 100mm respectively. Upper side? 80mm and 90mm. Lower side? still 80mm for 121 but 110mm for the 113.

The lower plate is just pretty bad, in my opinion. Yes, the 113 is "an alternative to the WZ 111 1-4", which means it's the opposite of that tank. Doesn't that mean it should be in tier 9? Y'know, branching out to two different Chinese tank types: big hitting guns with armor, and the fast, mobile hybrids.

Or maybe buff the armor values. As long as the lower plate isn't paper, it's fine. Enough to at least be useful to bounce shots with some angling there, because as of now... the only angle to bounce shots of the lower frontal plate is nearly 90 degrees or more away from a pointing gun. By that standards, you also have to hide your tank's sides. I'd say the armor values should go up to 110mm or more. Definitely not more than 130mm, though. Never seen one Chinese tank with that frontal plate value anywhere.

Remember the Type 59? it has 100mm of lower frontal armor. It's very OP, but it hasn't been nerfed. Instead, it got pulled away from shops and is now available through rewards.

100mm of lower frontal plating is very bouncy for a tier 8 medium. Not even the heavies in tier 8 have that kind of value, all this is excluding 110 tank. Now that's what I find weird.

Before the VKB tier 9 got the buff, it's a horrible tank to play through. It's practically untouched and everyone tried to skip it or just moved to the E75. I'm guessing the 113 and many other Chinese tanks are going through that too...

Thanks to Metal Saga, this is now in my "To Get" list. Too bad no triple Plasma Cannons, though.

"The last thing I want to see is a tank with low penetration and lack of armor."

For tier 10, it's very off-putting... the lower gun caliber is already a turn-off for most, but I'm okay with a rapid gun. The penetration's is about Maus' levels, but at least that tank has great armor to back up it's greatly slow speed. Normally a fast shooting gun would have high penetration and low damage output, but this is another strange thing in the 113. The ammo capacity is not a problem as it's normal for Chinese tanks to have small ammo storage.

Well, the Chinese Heavy line is not that popular, so that is the only reason that why is doesn't receive any TLC from the devs. Hopefully, there's two heavy tank lines: fast rapid guns with unparalleled speed, and the slow but dangerous hard hitting guns.

After all, they made the WT E100... which is entirely fictional. As in, it doesn't exist even in a blueprint... totally made up by Wargaming. So I'm pretty sure that they can think of something to fill in 113's role or create a new line for it. If they can't, then the only way is buffing it up.

It makes me wonder what will actually happen if they made a new heavy tank line for it, though. The WZ 111 1-4 will finally have a true tier 10 successor that could use the same 130mm gun, just modified slightly like IS-4's gun which is also on the ST-I.

Only one way to find out, though. And that is to wait until Wargaming does something to the Chinese Tanks... if it ever gets anymore TLC though.

Wew... it turned into one long post. I guess I'll end it here for now, guys. Sure did a number on this post... I guess the next time I post about the Chinese heavy line, it'll be about some good news to it... I hope.

2016 January Update

It's been some time, guys.

So, what have I've been doing the whole of this month? Enjoying myself with some games, of course!

I've been playing both Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide with a friend of mine... still got the Dragunov and the "Billboard" Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle from Riptide.

After that, I've indulged myself in a different game... PAYDAY 2. [yes, that's how it's supposed to be written]

It's a great game when it first came out somewhere in '13, but still great till today. Only some DLCs have been pretty lackluster and some even "questionable" on why it even existed.

Like the one that has to do with goats. Wait, whut? GOATS?! That doesn't even fit in with the game...

Yup, Overkill's taken this game to a new low. I've actually played this game back in '14, but that version is obtained through "different" ways and SOMEONE made the game less fun to play with goddamned cheats.

But it's pretty fun. Taking me away from Fallout 4 for awhile before I get back to it in March this year. I felt like I needed a break from Fallout 4 'cause I don't want to play it to the point where I get sick of it.

Like several other games I can name of...

Currently, the most I've gone so far is playing on Overkill difficulty. Death Wish is just madness if ya gonna do it alone.

No photos or videos, though. No photos 'cause it's all in Steam instead. No videos 'cause it lags the fuck outta my games. PAYDAY 2 was already at a stable 40. When recording it goes down to nearly half of that. Dead Island is a bit weird, though. Sometimes it crashes when I tried to record. But if everything goes well, it still lags out my games a lot.

The game was already very laggy in certain parts without recording... so no to the Dead Island series at all.

But, I did managed to record something else instead. World Of Tanks replays! It's not as exciting, but at least it works and isn't slowing down too much.

The video's already up in YouTube, but I'll be posting it here tomorrow, 'cause there's some backstory to it.

And sometimes I'll take a little break from the MMOs and FPSes to play some strategy and simulation games.

That last one... it's not what you think it might be. It's actually an old favorite of mine called 'Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe' on Steam.

And for the strategy games? Those are also old classics. They are Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds + Clone Campaigns and possibly the most fun you can have with a strategy game: Empire Earth.

...at least, in my opinion.

Hell, I might even play more classics... Just gotta go find them. And also remember what the game titles are.

So I guess that's it, then. A video will be post up here tomorrow. Stay tuned for it! That's it for me, I'm off for some SWGB!!!

Final 2015 Post

Well, it's obviously correct.

It's been some time, huh? I've been busy with Fallout 4 and several other games...

...but it's mostly Fallout 4.

What a damn good game that was. Still have stuff to do in there, but I can get back to it anytime I want. This year's journey was very "mixed", as in some bad and some good inside it.

Hell, I'm just glad that I've finally gone through the hassle to assemble an Ethernet cable to my laptop.

No more laggy-assed connections! Hurrah!

I actually wanted to post more during the last few weeks, but there are all Fallout 4 related. As far as I know, not everyone has played it yet.

It has it's ups and downs, but it has a lot of "downs" then "ups"... if ya catch my drift.

Sad to say that it's not really what I expected it to be. Don't get me wrong, it's not a horrible game... it's just that there were many things that were lacking in the game... not to mention certain bad stuff that made it's way into the game.

*cough*Limited speech options*cough*

The world is surprisingly small, even though they claimed it to be bigger or somewhat similar in size with Skyrim's world. To me, it seems small, and very compressed.

The missions are very lacking, too. But I won't go into that topic.

*Sigh* So much for Fallout 4, yet it fails to deliver what many have expected.

I'm done with Fallout 4, but there's still some stuff I can do there. Mods will surely make it interesting, but until then... I'll be off with other games.

And so it ends for 2015... and say hello to 2016. Don't know what lies for the future, but I'm damn well looking forward for it. Farewell, and I'll be seeing y'all in the next post!

It's Time...

Maybe a day late, but still pretty much the same...

I'm back for an update to the usual blog. Yesterday, I was supposed to write and post this but got side-tracked with some stuff I gotta do.

What goes on yesterday, you ask? Well, it's Fallout 4's official release date of course! Some faster than others, but eventually we'll get each of our own.

I ordered the game waaay to late, like on the 9th of November late when it's supposed to be right on the Official Release during Bethesda's E3... this goes especially for the Pip Boy Edition. Damn that thing got sold out so fast...

...or more like too fast.

Even if there's new and practically mint conditioned ones out there sold by others, I still wouldn't buy it. Why? Well, most of it has about at least $100 apart from the original cost. USD to my currency = big difference. That and also the reason that I've already bought a standard version of Fallout 4. Since the Fallout Anthology is still on, I went on to get 'em plus the Collector's Edition of the Vault Dweller's Survival Guide.

Well, if you can't get your hands on a rare collectible, there's always the "not so rare" collectibles out there still.

I got the guide because it's a cool piece of collectible to have, with all the info you need on the game, too. Never bought an actual guide book before... so I'm pretty curious to see what lies within it's pages.

Plus I prefer to get physical copies of the Fallout games. Yes, this means the ones in Fallout Anthology too. Reason? Easily the first and most frustrating reason is that my internet connection these days are CRAP. I can technically save cash by buying just the game on Steam, but yeaaah... 30GB + 500KB/S = nearly a day's worth of downloading. Plus, it's not that stable. Certain times it'll drop low... one of the many reasons I don't really play online games nowadays much.

Getting 999ms while playing World Of Tanks or even worse, Armored Warfare showing your exact ping numbers. Highest record? 5041ms.

I remember a game I had in World Of Tanks a few days back, where I was driving and suddenly a lag attack hit... couldn't stop my tank and all I do is watch it drive straight into the water and turning it into a history relic. The only thing from the tank that was still above water level was the one Dushka Machinegun on one of it's cupolas.

Sad to say that this happened in less than half a minute the game started. Got alot of people pissed for that.

Anyway back to physical copies. Having them is great hands down. No downloads, except for certain items like security and updates. Keep them for later use and all you need to know is to just don't freaking mess the CD up. You wouldn't want to make it corrupted or lose data or even worse, not even working at all. Collecting physical copies might get bulky and space consuming at certain times, but just generally buy the ones you want. And that's the last point: collections.

I don't have alot of space to store physical copies, let alone the damn nuke... but I'll manage through junk clearing. Plus, this is a start of my physical game collections. Sadly no Pipboy Edition, though.

Maybe when I'm loaded, then I'll probably buy one in mint condition...

Even though the title says "It's Time", it's not really for me. I'll get my copy of the game latest next Tuesday. Earliest should be on Friday if I'm lucky enough. Just have to avoid spoilers till then!

Now then, I'm off for some distractions away from Fallout 4... I'll be updating once I got my hands on the sweet, sweet game stuff... whenever it arrives, that is.

Three Freakin' Months

Yea... now that's long.

I'm back... but DAMN it's been so long since the last time I've posted something! I guess all those months at another place really takes you away from what you normally do at home, huh?

Or maybe that's just me...

It looks like a lot of things has happen while I was gone. Plenty of Fallout 4 info scattered everywhere on YouTube, plenty of missed game updates, not to mention all the unseen episodes of different shows and YouTuber updates that I've haven't looked into. Fact is: I'm waaaay behind schedule.

It seems that I've missed my chance to play some Armored Warfare. There's something called "stress testing" that went on recently but I was a few days late for it... I was really looking forward to it.

It also seems like Bethesda Studios are releasing a weekly video that shows some details about the S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats, kinda like a Vault Dweller's video guide to handling the Wasteland. Soo damn stoked for the game to be released already... but then there's the problem of whether the game can EVEN run smoothly on my computer, minus the max graphics of course.

I've also noticed that the local BlackShot has been out of Garena and a different game took over it's place, something by the names of A.V.A... or Alliance of Valiant Arms if you wanna get the full detail. But it seems that BlackShot wasn't all gone, it's just that they moved. Now they are under PlayOne Asia.

Good to see that my old favorite game is still on... somewhere at least.

I heard that A.V.A is pretty good, 'cause it has PERMANENT WEAPONS! Yup! There's nowhere in Garena that there's ever been a game similar to BlackShot to have permanent weapons... not to mention bots to play along Deathmatches and Co-op missions.

Sounds more like ZMR and Hazard Ops, but with no ridiculous lags and playable in first person.

And judging by the all these things I've missed out, I'll be having a lot of catching up to do... as I've said at the start of this post. Sorry if it's a little dry, short and nothing much but rambles... but I'm just glad to be able to be back.

Looks like I'll be back on track roughly weeks, if not months. But at least there will be more blog posts now. With that, I'll bid farewell and will be back in the near future! [hopefully]

Busy, Busy, Busy

I'M BACK, BABY!

Well now, it's always good to be back to the ol' blog. The days being away from my computer... very lonely... very dusty. Always kept thinking about the usual stuff I'm supposed to be doing, but now I'm used to not always thinking about my computer. The stuff I do outside really keeps it of my mind.

It looks that I can't update the blog every time I get back home during the weekends... too busy preparing stuff to bring back there and also some other stuff that needs to be taken care of.

But at least they let me use my phone there. Even gave me a tablet completed with keyboard...

Now, just because I've been gone for a month already doesn't mean I've missed out on stuff. Still managed to get some game time aside for Armored Warfare's Early Access Take Two, and also managed to grab the Lord Of War Bundle of the Founder's Packs!

That was about a few weeks back, of course... not today.

Also, I've managed to catch Bethesda's E3 Showcase LIVE! [on YouTube, of course] But by the time I was there, I'd already missed out on the good stuff.

So I rewind it back... and there it was...

Fallout 4... coming this November 10th, 2015.

The 15 minutes of gameplay they showed us was grand, and then they announced the Collector's Edition: Completed with a metal case and a functional Pip Boy that you can put your smartphone in. You can download an App from them to your phone that can manage your inventory in your game IN REAL TIME.

And about the Collector's edition? I didn't have money when it came up for pre-orders. Came back next week and got the cash but it was all SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The franchise has built up tons of hype from all the waiting... that was like 6 years plus.

They even released a game for the phone... it's like a Vault Manager kinda game, similar to certain games I've played before. Still cool though if you're into checking it out.

Oh, and there's DOOM. It gets a fresh new look, and goes to the old Run N' Gun playstyle like the first two. Some might like it, some might not. But I couldn't care less about those things...

I still want to talk about the new things you can do in Fallout 4 and other great things, but it looks like I only have 30 minutes left before I need to leave home and back to the usual place... Time is really of importance there.

I guess this is it, then. Don't know when updates will arrive, but it's damn well not very soon. My sincere apologies on these... but I have no choice, and time. Adieu!

Enjoying While It Lasts

Hello everyone... It's been a long time.

Long time indeed, about more than 25 days without a single post... and I have a reason for it.

Remember that in my previous post, I've mention that I don't have time to run a clan because "I have some really important stuff coming up in my life that will take up at least 2 years tops"?

Well, that stuff actually starts tomorrow. Let's just say it's a 'must do' over here.

It'll be long and tiring, but you get to go back home every weekend.

Now this doesn't really interfere with me playing games, recording videos or posting on blogs. I've decided that it's time to change certain things in my life. Don't worry, nothing too major. I'll still be doing what I'll normally do, just not so much anymore.

With that in mind. I'll be gone starting from the 28th of May to... whenever it is I'll be back.

And as the title says: I've been spending my days doing the usual stuff, playing games.

Even on this last day, I've even gotten to enjoy a fresh new episode of my favorite anime, and even managed to play Armored Warfare. Today's the Early Access for Europe Servers at 6pm... which is a bad time, 'cause over here, it translates to exactly midnight. This is because I'm gonna need to be at the area tomorrow quite early and well-rested.

But since this is the last day for me, and technically the first AND last day for me to play Armored Warfare... I might as well sacrifice some hours for it.

...and also for the blog posts... and also for my favorite gem of an anime.

So I guess that's it then. No videos on Armored Warfare though, for obvious reasons. I can give you the first hand experience, though. [sounds wrong] The game is good, but because I'm nowhere near Europe, it's up to 300+ ping. There's also a bug where the aiming is extremely sensitive in Sniper Mode. [or zoomed-in mode] Only played about five battles, but at least it's something... not nothing.

Sorry if this seems rushed, but it has to be... 'cause I really need to sleep now. I'll bid Adieu until then... and see ya'll soon.
