"Defender Of The Motherland"

And finally, they are done. On with the post!

So, what will today's tank post be on? Well, it's a very "reputable" tank in the game... and it's sorta of a newcomer. Have you guessed it yet?

Well, I present to you the tank for today... the Tier VIII [or 8] Premium Soviet Heavy Tank; the Object 252U.

Do YOU think it's overpowered?

Yea... another Russian Tank. But it's slightly different than the AMX M4 49 and the T26E5, 'cause it's "Nation Skin" version actually has a slightly different model... in the form of missing front and back "track guards".

It actually makes it look 10X worse... with the custom skin and different model combined.

The AMX M4 49 has no change whatsoever, the T26E5 has different "clutter" locations [the extra junk like spades and ropes] between the normal and "Nation Skin" version and the Russian tank is the only one with both different clutter locations and slightly tweaked model... seems fair. Not biased at all...

Not only does it looks extremely ugly without the track guards, but it actually makes it easier for people to estimate where to shoot you at the sides as they are more exposed.

But enough with the mini rant... time for some replays...

That last tank chase, though... shoulda just capped... well, time for the next one, then. Had to fight an Object 252U 'Defender' in it.

Flanking maneuvers activate, indeed. they don't know what hit 'em... until they knew and fight back, that is. The last one has a Defender on my side of team, instead... and managed to snag quite an amount of kills, too.

Dat brain-fart moment when fighting the Type 58, though...

When this first rolled out for purchase, it was madness. I don't know if it's the massive amounts of players or the latest update that caused a server-wide "crash-to-desktop" thing, but it was really bad.

Many players while in the battles just stopped moving and got free-killed... some managed to come back on if they're fast enough. There was also a battle that had tons of players from one clan only! It was nearly two-thirds [or 2/3] of both teams, combining to a total of 4/6 of the players are of one clan.

The crashes only happen twice to me and it only lasted for a day. But the first game I had in the Object 252U had quite a lot of the enemy team players crashing and gave us the chance for a clean sweep of the remainders... I also ended up getting an Ace Tanker Mastery in that battle.

It was like target practice...

So, what do I think about this tank? Well, it's certainly an easy tank to control and do good in, but don't expect it to be the 'overpowered unstoppable beast' you'd think it'll be.

Let's go over the pros of this tank: Thick and angled frontal armor makes bouncing shots a breeze, it also has a powerful gun that has plentiful penetration and chunky damage, 225 penetration and 440 damage. It has really tiny cupolas that you really have to take time to aim in order to hit, too.

Now for the cons: Pre-angled frontal armor means it'll be weaker when angled wrongly, and the gun takes quite some time to aim and load... over three seconds of aim time and about roughly 13+ seconds for reloads. Plus, the gun's accuracy is horrible... not recommended for long-ranged shots.

But that's not all! The lower frontal plate may be thick, but it is HUGE, making it an easy weakspot. The driver can easily be killed by splashing High Explosive and possible to penetrate the driver's hatch if your tank is higher than the Object 252U. The cupola with the Dushka machinegun is actually an easy way to kill the loader/gunner.

Then there's the low view range of only 350 meters and the rather thin lower unangled side armor that is very easy to shoot through. Can still side-scrape, though. It's also rather slow. Thin sides and back armor makes the Object 252U rather vulnerable to Artillery, similar to the AMX M4 49.

Plus, with how tough this tank is, players normally just load Premium Shells nowadays when encountering one of these.

So overall, it's the typical brawling tank suited for close-range encounters and face-hugging...

Not a bad tank, but I prefer my tank guns to be accurate like the Lowe or the AMX M4 49. Means nothing if you can hit where you're aiming.

Well, I guess that's all for this post. Took quite a long time typing down the content for this post, so I think this should do. Got stuff to prepare for tomorrow's post still, and it's already 1:20 AM here. So catch y'all in the next post, then...

Upcoming World Of Tanks Post

Just a lil' heads-up,

The World Of Tanks videos are being uploaded to YouTube as of typing this. Only got three instead of four as it was a 9.18 replay.

So yeah... the actual post will be up, but will take like another few hours before you guys get to see it... y'know, typing down posts and shizz. So stay tuned.

Gone, But Back Again [With a 'Twist']

Wheew... it's been about five weeks already.

Yup, that long. What have I've been doing during that time? Busy with overwhelming work and taking breaks by playing games during the after-hours... overall, pretty usual stuff.

But this time, things are gonna be slightly different... so pay attention. In the course of next two weeks [this week included, till the end of next week] I'll be rapidly putting up videos to clear my hard drive space.

The videos have been sitting here for far to long, and it's also preparation for something important somewhere next week. Let's see here... I got four World Of Tanks videos that have yet to be uploaded, then there's the whole slew of Metal Saga videos at my disposal. Remember that one?

A small refresher of what it is...

I have about 30 to 40 videos, each at roughly 30 minutes. Yeeeaaahhhh......

The first thing to clear is obviously the World Of Tanks replays. Only four of them so it shouldn't be that tough. I can probably get it up at either Tuesday of Wednesday, depending on things around here.

For the Metal Saga parts, I'll have to decide how much I want to put in each "Metal Saga Adventures" post... and also how much parts I want to upload to YouTube for this two weeks.

I'm also thinking about putting up some other videos like 7 Days To Die or something like that... but planning to shift any zombie themed stuff to "T932's Dead Frontier Blog", as it's currently lacking any posts... 'cause y'know, Dead Frontier's starting to get even more stale with all the cash-grabbing updates only.

I'd rather talk about that on my Dead Frontier Blog instead of here, though.

Anyways, work's been lessening and I that's why I wanted to do this little plan that I've thought up. Rather interested with how this goes, as I really want to get my hands on the "Metal Saga Adventures" posts again.

As for playing the game... well, I still have a lot of leftover material to work with, so it can be put on-hold till I'm like 3 to 5 parts left... and that's gonna be awhile...

No joke though. It's gonna take quite some time before I get to play Metal Saga again...

Those Metal Saga parts have been sitting in the ol' hard drive for more than a year, so they must go before September rolls around.

And to everyone out there that were waiting for an update to the "T932's Dead Frontier Blog", there will be a post up there on Tuesday... will be even later if I plan to post the upcoming World Of Tanks batch on that day.

So, that's been quite a post. Plans, old stuff and more... here's hoping everything will pull through. And with that, I will be taking my leave now as it's already 2:50 AM here... see ya'll soon.

"King Of The Jungle"

And everything's done! Time for the post, now...

Today's video batch will be on one of the oldest Premium Vehicles in the game and the second one I've bought, the Tier XIII [or eight, 8] Premium German Heavy Tank: the Lowe.

Believe it or not, it's actually a Superheavy Tank.

Man, this tank and the 112 are beast... One's a close-range brawler with superior angled armor and the other is a side-scraping sniper with heavy mass!

Yes, the Lowe actually is a Superheavy Tank. In-game, it's weight reaches 90 TONS PLUS.

Oh, and "Lowe" is "Lion" in German. Little known fact for you guys out there, hence the title of this post.

And what I said about it is true, too. For example in the video below which shows it's supreme side-scraping ability.

Dat dumb Tier IX Medium Tank and Gold spamming Tier IX Heavy Tank, though...

That's just one of it's strengths. It also has an accurate Tier IX gun, hence it can snipe and even shoot on the move quite reliably at short to medium ranges. The next video showcases these points perfectly.

A wild T29 appears to flank! But fails!

One of the tank's downsides is the relatively thin armor on the sides and the frontal lower glacis plate. But in continuation of the gun's pros, it reloads quite fast; down to 9.8 seconds if done right.

The tank also received a buff to it's engine power, thus making it faster. The next replay shows just the pros and cons stated above.

Bet that annoying M41 Bulldog didn't expect me to turn so quickly and at the right time...

And that's not all. It's ammo capacity is pretty impressive, too... 80 shells. And another con that bugs nearly every Lowe player ever: getting shot in the lower frontal glacis plate almost always leads to engine damage.

Hmph... the 112 gets its ammorack damaged when shot there, and then the Lowe gets engine damage...

The tank will end up move as slow as a Maus when it gets it's engine damaged, so it's almost a necessity to repair it unless your game is about to end soon or when you are relatively safe from enemies.

Anyways, here's the last replay I have on this tank... it has a very high damage blocked by armor statistics, at 2610 blocked.

Sadly, no kills...

But the cons for this tank are not done yet! It has a very lightly armored and quite visible cupola, and the area below the gun manlet is rather flat. The giant size also makes it an easy target for artillery.

But even with all that cons, it's still a very capable tank. Easy to use, master and also kill if not used properly. Many people complained that it's one of the worst Premium Heavy Tank to use, but I disagree.

To me, it's a breeze to use. Compared to the 112, the high penetration and getting engine damage compared to ammorack damage is a big and good trade-off. I even got used to using the Lowe faster than I did in the 112. I guess this tank requires a ton of skill to use if people keep saying that it's shit... even though it's not.

But for the Panzerkampfwagen VII [or Pz.Kpfw VII (or 7)] or "Panzer 7", it was also dubbed as one of the worst Tier X Heavy Tank now... but I can't say for certain as I don't have one. But, I am planning to get it...

...sooner or later, I guess.

It's a modified version of the famed Clan Rewards tank the: the VK 72.01 (K) [or as I call it the "VKK"]

A  tank with the E100's gun and performance of a Maus...

But I guess that's all then. This post was supposed to be done somewhere in March but y'know, Warface and stuff...

I still have another video batch to do before I can play World Of Tanks again, but I can still play other games instead for now... like The Last Stand: Dead Zone which I've played in the past before.

Well, I guess that's it for now. It's taken too many hours to complete this post, so yeah. When's the next one gonna be up? Dunno, but I'll post an update when it's gonna arrive... so see ya, for now.

Delayed N' Coming Soon

Well, yesterday was a fail.

And the reason for that was that the sickness decided to rise again! Ugh...

But now I'm better again and hopefully, this time it stays that way. Anyways with that outta the way, the videos are done being edited and are currently being uploaded to YouTube. So it won't be long before I'll be on with the World Of Tanks post.

So yeah, be patient for a lil' while more... they'll be up about a few hours later. Still need to write down the post y'know? And with that, I'm off and will be back soon...

Upcoming World Of Tanks Videos

Title says it all...

Well, now that I'm pretty much done with Warface for now, it's time to get to work with the World Of Tanks video batch.

There's about four [4] to go through. and this time I'll be putting them up near the end of the day. No reason, just felt like putting them up at that time slot.

Anyways, that was just to tell y'all that they'll be up today... but at a very late part of the day. So just sit tight while nighttime [or daytime to some] rolls around. Be seeing ya!

Inactivity?

Well now, it's been a long time since I've been here...

It's been about, what...a month plus without a post? I'm really sorry, but the reason behind it this time isn't really great. I have been gone because I was busy playing Warface.

Really good game... 'cept for the ping.

The game's great, but unfortunately with the closest server region being Europe [EU], I have no choice but to stick to playing Co-op Mode only. With 270+ ping there's no way I'll do great in Versus Modes...

Been playing it since the 12th of March... and decided to get the Mega Booster Pack which gave me the ability to get nearly TRIPLE in EXP Boost [275%] and nearly double in everything else, which includes the in-game currency [Warface Dollars] and the Arsenal Unlock EXP [VP]... for about 30 Days.

That means a month's worth of 'Premium Mode'...

Right now I'm at rank 34, the "Warrant Officer" stage. [Distinguished with 3 Diamonds] So it won't be long before I get even higher than that.

But don't worry, I haven't forget about the World Of Tanks videos! In fact, I have 4 in storage now... just waiting to be processed and uploaded to YouTube. After that, I can get to the next bunch... so that means no more playing or even opening World Of Tanks Launcher for me till it's all done.

...aaannd since there's alot of talks about this year's World Of Tanks April Fool's event being barely existent, I can safely skip out on it.

Warface on the other hand has a SEVEN DAY EVENT on just about April Fools...

Even Armored Warfare didn't have the time make up an event for it as they have legit reasons... Update 0.19 and Balance 2.0...

And even this post was supposed to be up yesterday, the last day of March. But I had a very terrible headache plus flu and sore throat... the headache's gone today but the rest is still lingering on to me...

As long as my head isn't throbbing and my eyes ain't being strained like it's being pressed on, then I can still use the ol' computer. Too bad it had to happen on the weekends, though.

Anyways, I'm gonna head back to Warface as I didn't get my chance to play it yesterday 'cause y'know... sickness. So happy April Fool's to you lot... no jokes or anything like that, though. See ya next time, then...
